STOLEN BANK-NOTES.
WORLD-WIDE HUNT FOR A THIEF. By Telegraph—Press Association-Copyright Sydney, Juno G. Unsigned bills valued at .£2OOO were stolen from a bank in Pittsburg, America, in November Inst. The bank despatched a list of the numbers to moneychangers throughout the world, and subsequently learned tiiat the bills had been circulated in Europe and South America. An American tourist cashed JHOO worth of theso bills recently. A Cook and Son's man traced the tourist, and the local polico cabled to America for instructions. These wore not received in time to prevent the suspect sailing for Vancouver by tho steamer Zealandia.
