Present indications are for westerly to . south-westerly winds strong to gale in parts, with cold and changeable weather; lv?avy showers at time 3 in many parts of the Dominion. The barometer is still unsteady, but has a rising tendency everywhere. Heavy seas probable on the West Coast. The barometer has been very unsteady, with strong westorly winds predominating, and cold and showery weather has been experienced generally. Feilding, June 6.—Very cold day; rain in the afternoon and at night. Palmerston North, June 6.-Showery day; heavy rain to-night. Otaki, June 6.—Dull. Featherston, June 6-Overeast and threatening; N.W. wind. . - Carterton, June 6.—Tfc.s woatlier is fine, but cold, with rain threatening. Masterton, June 6.—Frost this morning; mild day. Hastings, June 6.-To-day has been dull, with mild temperature.
