9 ' VISIT TO BAY OF PLENTY. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Tauranga, June 4. ' The Hon. W. D. Macdonald, Ministe: {or Public Works, arrived here iron Waihi this afternoon.. He was met by th Mayor, the county chairman, and leadini liublic men, and was afterwards entertain ed at afternoon tea. Hβ subsequently re ceived a large number of deputations 01 railway and road matters, his replies be ing regarded as satisfactory. The Minis ter will be entertained at a banquet thi evening by the local bodies. He leaves fo To' Puki "in the morning, travelling ove the railway route to that district, am will be banqueted at night. On Thuvsda; ho leaves for Whakatane, and on I'rida; goes on to Opotiki.
