General Lyaiitsy, Commander-in-Cliief in Morocco, reports that Colonel Gonrand's column made a sortie against the Moors to a point ton kilometres north- [ ■east of Fc;:. They shelled a largo encampment, causing the flight of the enemy lo the mountains. Jinny Moors were left dead on the iield. ■ The I'reucli hud nine killed and 58 wounded, including Mr. Redman, an English non-commissioned officer attached to the Sultan's army. General Brulard, in speaking at Mr. Redman's funeral, paid a high tribute to his courage.
