Two constables were talking in tlio street early yesterday morning to a man, who alleged ho had buen assaulted and ; robbed. Threo men approached, but ono £ fled when ho saw the police. A constable pursued him and fired two shots, tho fugitive firing three in return. The man escaped. Ho is suspected of being * one of Sydney's armed masked burglars. „ . -i BURGLARIES AT ADELAIDE.
