REPORT BY LORD KITCHENER. By Telegraph—Press Association-Oopyrlsht (Kec. May 31, 11.(5 p.m.) London, May 31. A Blue Book on Egyptian afiaivs lias been issued. The reports of Lord Kitchener, British Agent, indicate that puliifical feeling is much calmer, nnd that tho religions differences between the Copts and tho Mahommedans have been composed. In referring to internal affairs, Lord Kitchener says he notices, after eleven years' absence, that the formerly homogeneous body of intelligent Mahommedans has split info political factions. Lord Kitchener adds that tho Egyptian army is thoroughly,,'efficient. Its distribution in the Sudan is based on the policy of concentrating forces at stations suitable for speedy dispatch to any threatened locality, besides guarding the frontiers from invasion. Tho prosperity of the Sudan has increased remarkably, and there is now hardly a poor man there. The country is stated to be on the threshold of important developments.
