It appears in connection with the picture theatre tragedy that a kinematograph entertainment was being held in an old shop at Villnrenl, 180 spectators boing present, when a spark fired tho building. One door was barred and tho other exit was blocked by the flames, and few escaped through the fire. Tho fire resulted in the complete destruction of tho building. Of sixty bodies already recovered only twenty-two are identifiable. It is believed eighty persons were killed. A largo number were injured—many fatally.
