A NEGRO LYNCHED
BURNED TO DEATH BY TEXAS MOB. By Telegraph—Pres3 Association—Copyright (Rec. May 2(i, 5.5 p.m.) New York, May 25. The lynching of a negro named Dan Davis is reported from Tyler, Texas. The negro, who had confessed to attacking a girl, was burned to death by the mob. The girl's throat had been gashed by Davis and her condition is critical.
