Griffiths to ori&inUc a public meeting in . the Toivn Hall to protest against the i attitude of the honorary medical staff to : tho matron, and. incidentally to pass a resolution expressive of indignation at the action of the board during th" in- ; quiry. It is stated that the stand taken by She matron has nine with a largo 1 share of public sympathy, and that ' every effort is being made lo have this * opinion publicly voiced at an early dale. ' The board meets again nest . week to ' consider its decision ili regard to the ! recent, inquiry, and it is understood that 1 the Town Halt gathering will be held as 1 scon afterwards as possible.
