9 LORD KITCHENER AGAINST WEAKENING IT. By Telegraph-Press Aesociation-Copyrizht. London, May 23. Router's Malta correspondent says it is stated in well-informed quarters that Lord Kitchener (British Agent in Egypt) emphatically opposes tho withdrawal of a single warship from tho Mediterranean, and insists on the stationing of a warship in Egypt. He is starting for Malta to confer with Mi. Asquith (Prime Minister) and Mr. Winston .Churchill (First Lord of the Admiralty).
