SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Present indications are for fair to cloudy weather, temperature conditions somewhat milder, with increasing humidity. The winds will probably change tomorrow to northerly, and freshen everywhere, with a decrease in barometric pressure. Cold and changeable weather has been reported, with an improvement in conditions to-day. Moderate to strong southerly and south-easterly winds have predominated, with a slight rise, in the barometer. Feuding, May 24—Heavy frost; fine sunny day; cold nifrht. •Shannon. May 24.—There wu« '. keen frost on Thursday night. Friday was fine and bright. Otaki, May 24.—Frost, followed by bright sunshine. Featherston, May 24.—Fine, cold day. Oa-rtcrton, Hay 24.—Rain fell here yesterday, but cleared towards evening. This morning there was a heavy frost, and a beautiful day followed. Indications for a frost to-night. Masterton, May 24.—A keen frost was experienced last night, this being followed by a. bright day. There are indications of another 'frost to-night. Hastings, May 24—Sharp frost, followed by sunny day.
