Half a pound of Hour, Jib. snot, 1 teaspoonful baking powder, apples, sugar. Mix the flow, baking powder, and salt together in a basin. Shred and chop the suet and add it to the flour, ilafce a well and mix to n stilt' paste with cold \t«iter. Turn on to a floured board, roil out about J inch thick. Lino a wellgreased padding basin with the crust. Trim the edges, fill with pec-led and sliced apples, sufficient sugar to sweeten, and a little cold water. Cover with the rest of tho crust rolled out thinly. Cover with a greased paper, and cook in a 'hot oven for lj hours. Turn out and serve. POPI TO-MORROW. Stock; 5 or Gib. pickled jiork; parsnips] suet. 1011 SUNDAY. Vermicelli. Stock. Leg of pork. Cauliflower. Pineapple. Fruit. Pastry. Cream. FOR SUPPER. Ingredients for galantine of beef. Salad. Cocoa. Passion fruit. Sago.
