Two Paris policemen who attempted to arrest six men for throwing rubbish into the Seine were surprised when the six produced cards showing that they themselves were policemen. They were throwing into tile river fifteen miles of krnematograph films which had been condemned as improper for public exhibition. • Many Skegness people are keeping the envelopes of letters received on Friday, March 1, as mementoes, for, although it is Leap Year, the local postal authorities went, one better, and post-marked communications "February 30, 1912."
