AN UNUSUAL TEIZE. A- special prizo of £1 Is. was givon to an agricultural society in South Africa for the worst ram in tho show. , A special class was dovoted to this prize, aud naturally there wore no entries. The object of the donor was to instruct the exhibitors in the defects they hud to guard against in sheep, and this prizo was a direct opposite to the championship prize, and would have been awarded to tho ram which was tho worst in tho show, no mattor what class it was exhibited' in. This may bo remedied next year if the donor keeps his offer open, and fanners will have an opportunity of seeing tho difference between a good and a bad rain.
