HARRIERS.
■ The Central Harriers held/ their weekly run yesterday, from .Brooklyn, as the guests of their president, Dr. Conzeus. T. ii Myers and C. H. Duck were entrusted with the paper, and succeeded in laying an excellent course, which, combined with perfect weather, made tho afternoon's run most enjoyable. Leaving Brooklyn, tho paper Ird down (he tramline, cutting olf at the Nairn Street Hcscrvo -through. Vogeitown, and round Mornington, then back to the starting point, via ihc hills overlooking'Happy'Valley, a distance in all of about eight mile's. A handicap runin was held over tho last 200.yards, the winner turning up in a new member, 13. IVarce, with li. ve.ngo second, and C. Rough third. N. Paulsen and G. Scott (oil' scratch)' failed to make up the handicap conceded to the limit men. After tea a i programme of music was provided, Mr. S. Rankin, a vice-president of tho club, giving two or three, numbers. Before leaving, the captain thanked Dr. Couzens for the hospitality extended,
