Mr. Louis Botha, Prime Minister, in announcing the acceptance of Mr. Hull's resignation of his portfolio of Treasurer, intimated that there would bo a reconstruction of the Ministry at tho end •or the session. 11l the meanwhile Mr. Smuts has been entrusted with the Finance portfolio. Mr. Hull accused Mr. Sauer of systematically ignoring colleagues, in incurring expenditure, and amending the railway rates without consulting Cabinet. This Mr. Sauer denied.
