Major Bevau occupied tho chair, and there wcro about 70 members present. The report disclosed a very successful year. l Tho financial statement indicated an excess of assets over liabilities totalling X3G9 13s. Bd., and a credit 'balance on the year's workings, Lieut. Hollis explained tho position in regard to possession of tlio Brill Halt. Ho stated that negotiations were now in progress for a satisfactory arrangement of tho control of the property. Captain Robinson, Lic-ut. Kirk, and Sergt. Hardham were elected life honorary members, and Messrs. 13. Plnth and 11. ,T. Palmer, lion, members. The following committees were elected:—Boating: Scrgts. iidmunds,' Blake, Ferguson, CVrporai Mo'e, Bombardiers Martin. Nnttall, Swiffen. and Stewart. Shoolinp: Bugler Hill, Corporals Hollaway. Pettitt, l?od. we!!, Gunners Nuttall. Stewart, Chapman, Pointon, and Fattison. A very Successful euclire party and "social"' was held at the I'etone Junior Club room last evening. About 100 memtars and lady friends were present.
