0 "BLACKWOOD'S MAGAZINE" APOLOGISES. By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright. London, Hay 20. The suit brought by Mr. Winston Churchill, First Lord of the Admiralty, against "Blackwood's Magazine" to repel the slander that he broke his parole during the war in South Africa, has been settled, defendants paying a sum agreed upon and apologising. Plaintiff denied giving or being asked for his parole.
