Lhassa. news dated May 15 states that Maxims and artillery are being used against the Chinese who are sheltering in a°monnstery, and remain silent The besieged are feeding on dead transport animals. Fifteen thousand Tibetans are blocking their retreat, and tho end is expected soon.
