WORK AT WANGANUI. (By Telegraph—Press Association.! Wanganui, May 21. The weather was fino for training opera--1 ions. I'aisano was t.ho first to work, going once round the hurdles. Dogger"bank was to have accompanied Paisauo, 1 j ill; bolted four times round the vroug way. Continuance and Kaipetipeti went once round the big fences, jumping well, especially Continuance. St. Onto was too good for Handsome Maid over .six furlongs. Hast Wind moved freely over tho saiuo distance. Afterthought did half a mile in a-sec. Epsom Downs finished in front of Antarctic and Kokaho at the end of six turlongs. . . , Gaelic and The Native went twice round over tho hurdles, jumping fairly. Lo\ I'II did two rounds of big country, jumping proficiently. Torbelle nia'le a fair display over tlio hurdles, huroco wont once over tho hurdles, and Seaman and Silver Cluse twice on tho flat at three-quarter pace. Sphinx shaped better than Outlander over seven hurdles. Con tho Shaughraun, Khamsin, Over, time, Merry frank, Thravo, Lady tvuclioran, Woolloomooloo, Merry Lao, Daroy Paul, Compass, Morrivonia, Manitau, Whakaweira, The Spaniird, and a number of others did useful work.
