INSTRUCTIONAL CAMP.
The instructional camp for the staff corps, which is to bo held at Trentliam, has been greatly curtailed on account of tho non-arrival of the new manual for the infantry and of the new gnus for the artillery. The camp will therefore be a comparatively small one. It will commence on June 8, and continue til! July 13. For the first period the newly-appointed staff non-commissioned officers, about 70 strong, will be instructed by staff non-commissioned officer instructors. The camp will be commanded by Captain Hamilton (of tho district headquarters staff), who will be assisted by Captain Digby Curdell. Ser-geant-Major Davey will be camp sergeantmajor, and Sergeant-Major Kibblewhite will bo camp quartermaster.
From June 22 a "refresher" course will be held for those officers and non-commis-sioned officers of th« N.Z.0.1i. who can be spared from thoir routine duties. Invitations are issued to officers and non-com-missioncd officers of the Territorial engineer corps aiul infantry regiments, who may attend of their own free will after June 22.' Tho names of those* who wish In attend will 1m forwarded from their district headquarters to the headquarters staff in Wellington.
