Two burglars, after threatening heiwith revolvers, gagged a Mrs. Stoddart, who was alono in her house, and escaped with .£B7 in cash. SOME DARING ROBBERIES. Sydney, May 20. Several more daring robberies have occurred in the suburbs. INMATE HELD DP. Melbourne, May 20. A burglar ransacked'a house in East Melbourne, and held the inmate at the point of a revolver while he searched his clothes. THE ROBBERY BOOM. (Rec. May 21, 0.30 a.m.) Sydney, May 20. The robbery boom continues, and a number were reported to-day.
