DISTRICT REPORTS, (From our Special Correspondents.) Wamranui, May 18,-Heavy rain last night and to-day, but the weather cleared slightly in the arternoon. Feilding, May 19.-Saturday heaty rain during the night and day. Sunday, dull cold day and nfght. •' Palmerston, May 19.—Rain fell all Saturday morning, but cleared in the afternoon. Sunday was fine and mud. Otaki, May 18—liain. Featherston, May 18,-Stcady raiu and misty weather. Greytown, May 18,-The weather set in wet on Friday night, and a good deal of rain has fallen since.
Hastings, May 18.—Light rain commenced this morning, and several hoavy Bhowers fell during the day; temperature mild.
