The Airmen's Convention at New Jersoy discusscd tho practicability of using aoroplanes for extinguishing fires. Most of tho members thought it absurd, but others saw no reason why firo extinguishing chemicals oould not bo used similarly to bomb-dropping in warfare. Their uso for skyscraper fires was particularly recommended.
