The Tramway Committee Tccommended as follows to the City Council last night regarding the tramway depreciation fund: That the sum of .£7OOO bo set apart at onco in accordance with the resolution passed by tho council on October 2, Itlll. That in future tho balance of tho depreciation fund used in the tramways undertaking bo debited with interest at the rate of i\ per cent, per annum. Without being discussed, the clause was referred back to tho committee, and tlio Mayor assured Councillor M'Kcnzie that fullest details as to expenditure would bo given. „_^^___
