(From Our Special Correspondent.) A sitting of the J'etone Court was conducted beforo Messrs. Mothes nnd Keir, tJ.l'.'s, yesterday. A first nlfenelor for drnukenndw was convicted and uipchai'Red, and a conviction only μ-rs recorded against Thomas Xein for trcspupsiiia on (he railway liiie at Petoiic station. Thomas Townseiiil and .A'cxander Gondii wpre charged with driving vehicles without lights. Owing to mitigating circumstances, both wcro merely convicted and ordered to pay costs. The annual free concert given by the Peloiie AVorliingmeii's Club in the Paliico TSieatro last night was a success. Tlio hall was packed, and a programme of musical items by locnl amateurs, interspersed with moving pictures, was appreciated.
The first of a series of winter "socials," under the. auspices nf the Royal Potoiio Lodge, was hold in Do Lissa's Hull last night. There was a good attendance, and an enjoyable evening was spent in games, musical items, and dancing.
