GENL SIR R. BADEN-POWELL
The Wellington Scouts will have an opportunity of welcoming their chief on March 29 when General Sir H. BadenPowell reaches here, and it is confidently anticipated that the outcome of his visit will be greatly to stimulate the already loyal feeling among the Boy Scouts. General Baden-l'qwell hopes, by the lecture which he will deliver at the Town Hall, to dispel misapprehension!; from the minds of those who consider that Boy Scouts ore being trained in order that they may became, fighting machines. The General has explained iu his books on tho subject that Boy Scouts aro not trained upon military lines, but in such a, manner that it is hoped they will be enabled to become better citizens and true men. .Extensive arrangements' are in hand for welcoming the distinguished visitor.
