Vegetables.—Swedes are in fair demand, whilst turnips nre realising low ratss. Consignments of cauliflowers arc recommended, for extreme prices are now be'nc obtained. French beans are wanted. Potatoes.—Owing to heavy shipments coming forward the market luis cased considerably, and the present price is £6 to £7 per ton. sacks in. according to quality. Onions.—Prime table are, short of requircmsnts, and are worth 10s. to 11s., irediuni quality 7s. to Ss. Bran has advanced ss. Ncr ton, and is now quoted at £6 to £6 ss. Pollard continues short of requirements, and all lots coming forward are readily sold at £7 15s. to £8. Rolled oats, in 41b. bags are selling at 9s. a.ud oatina at 9s. 6d. per doz. Oatmeal.—Tho market is firm, and the current quotation is £13 10s. p-sr ton, f.o.h. south, and £14 per toll, ex store, Wellington. Chaff is in excellent demand; prime oaten s-henf chaff is ouoted at £5 53. to £5 10s., while strau' chaff is Quoted at £3 !3s. per ton. Cape Barley.—The markst is lifeless; the cifrrent price remains at 3s. 9d. to 4s. Feed barley rules at about 3s. 6d. per bushel. Mnizi.—Extreme rates are ruling, and the quotation now ruling, ex store, is ss. 6d. per bushel for prime quality. Hams and bacon remain steady.
