THE 1912 CHAMPIONSHIP. A meeting of the Management Committee of the Sew Zealand Lawn Tennis Association was held last evening, there being present; Messrs. F, M. B. Fisher (chairman), E. I'. Ecdward, and H. M. Gore. A letter was received from the Hawke't Bay Association, enclosing tt copy of a. letter from the Hastings Lawn Tennis Club, with reference to the. 1912 New Zealand championship being; played in Hawke's Bay, The letter wa3 referred to a sub-comttit-tee, consisting of the chairman nnd Mr. Hurley. , I The committee decided to adopt. Ayrcs's championship ball for the 1912 championship meeting, provided saH'sfactory arrangements could be niado placing indent orders. ' •'-";■ The Australasian Association' advised that the Buckley Club coiiijtetition for 1912 would be played in Sydney on August 3 nnd 5 next, and that negotiations were still being carried on with Mr. A. j Wallis Myers as to securing a' tour of Australasia by an English team. It was further notified, that' Melbourne had been selected as tho place to be suggested for playing off tho challenge round, of the Davis Cup, 1912. .
