THAT PROPERTY DISPUTE. The monthly meeting of the General Committee of the Wellington Provincial Industrial Association was held last evening, Mr. L. E. Partridge (president) in tho chair.

Official correspondence stated that the importation of flock was now prohibited, for hygienic reasons, unless made from pure mill puff or mill waste. Messrs. Tollej-, electrical engineers, were elected members of the association.

The president's purchase of the picture "A Grey Morning' (Spenlovo) from tho Bailho Gallery, for presentation to the National Gallery, the price fcoing .£6O, and tlio association having voted' only «£SO for the purpose, was sanctioned. The secretary (Mr. H. F. Allen) said that it was reported in the press that the 'Wellington Education Board had decided to increase its insurance on the buildings coinpming the Technical School to ,£3OOO, and JMSO on the furniture. As the association still claimed an interest on the building, and had an insurance of .£ISOO on it, with the National Insurance Company (the Education Board having a policy of JE2(M)O with tho Atlas Company! he had asked the manager of the National Company whether the proposal increase would, in tho event of a fire, affect the standing of the association. The manager had replied in the negative.

The secretary was directed to -write to the Minister for .Education (the Hon. J. A. Hunan) asking whether he had yet met the projected deputation- from the Education Board on the question of ownership of the buildings, and whether ho had any decision or information to communicate.

Sir. T. Bailingor moved Jo demand rent for the rooms from the Technical School lioaril, and (five notice to take legal proceedings if the rent was not paid within a month. The association had always assisted the board, and the board had not treated it well.

Tin's was seconded by Mr. C. B. Norwood, and carried unanimously.

The president reported that the association had ,£I2OO on fixed deposit, and a bank »ClO2 in current account
