■. THE OFFICIAL PROGRAMME. . Orders by Colonel G. F. C. Campbell (Coast Defence Commander), detail the official programme, for the military portion of the proceedings in connection with thS King's Birthday Review at Newtown Park on June 3 next. T) Battery ( Major Petherick), No. 1 Battalion (Lieutenant-Colonel Courtney), No. 2 Battalion (Lieutenant-Colonel TurBfef), and tho Field Ambulance Corps (Surgeon-Captain Holmes), will parade at Hackle Street in readiness to move'olT-'at 8:45 a.m. -for Newtown Park. - .Four battalions of senior cadets, under Major Matheson, and Captains Simeon, Redmond, and Hall respectively, will take up an allotted position, in tho park .at lO'.'a.m., Leforo the arrival of the Territorials. •■■■■. The escort to his Excellency the Governor will be furnished by A Squadron of th'd .Sixth Mounted Regiment, and will waiting at Government House at 11.15 a.m. The remainder of the squadron will parade at tho park gates at 10 a.m., and assist in policing the approaches. D Batterv, posted on a position overlooking the"park, will firo a'Royal Salute of-21 guns. . ... The procedure for tho review will-take tho following order of events:— .'Brigade paraded for inspection in line jof quarter-column; ■ .Royal Salute, and inspection by the .Governor; ■ .'Starch-past in'column; ,'March past in quarter-column; Advance in review order, and halt; 'Royal Salute, National Anthem (in ■which the public will join), and three cheers. , , 'A rehearsal parade will be held on Saturday, June 1, at :i p.m., when MajorGeneral Godley will be" present. - : Officers will parade -at ..the • GarrisonHall on Wednesday, May 27, for sword drill.
