The South Wales Miners' Federation has passed a resolution sympathising with Mr. Tom Mann, and declaring tho sentence imposed an unjust one. EAST END TAILOR ESSES. London, May 12. Lord Mersey's award for tho Northumberland Conciliation Board fixes tho minimum rates for underground workers in Northumberland mines as follow Day workers, 4s\ 9d.; pieceworkers, ss. 8c!.; boys, 2s. to 3s. Gd. (according to ago); putters, 45.; and deputy howers and enginemen, ss. Gd. The Ilewers claimed from Cs. 3d. to 7s. 9d.
