COLLIDE IN A TOG. By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright London, May 12. The battleship London collided with the steamer Don Benito in a fog at midnight off Hythe. The Don Benito was towed into Dover half-full of water. The London was uninjured. H.M.S. London is of 15,000 tons. 400ftin length, 75ft. beam, and Sfijffc. draught. She was built at Portsmouth, cip-iu 1839, and completed in 190-, at a cost of £1,030,393. Her «rew numbers <81, and she has a speed of 18.1 knots per houi. The Don Benito is a steel screw steamer of 3743 tons, owned by the Buenos Aj res and Pacific Railway Company, Ltd.
