A CIVIL SERVICE INQUIRY.
TO BE HELD AT ONCE. TV Prime Minister (Hon. T. Mackenzie) yesterday that the Government had deeideii to appoint a Commission of Inquiry into the conditions of the Civil Service' The personnel had not yet been decided on, but would be announced flt earlv date, and the Commission would begin its operations without delav. Jhe order of reference was now under consideration.
