ORGAN RECITA.
The "special request" programme of items pkiyed by Mr. Mauglum Harnett (municipal organist) at his recital in the Town Hall on Saturday evening was a very fine one. Among the items were the favourite, "Marche Militaire" anil "Serenade" of Schubert's, Mendelssohn'.s "Sixth Sonata," ami thd splendid overture to Wagner's "Tannhauser." The organist was assisted by Jlr. Hamilton Hodges, whose items, "The Krl King" (Schubert) and "Across the Par Bine Hills" (Blumenthal), were well suited to his voice ami admirably sung. Messrs. J. H. Bethune and Co. have some important announcements in our auction columns with regard to comi-.ig sales.
