Mr. Mackenzie complained of the Opposition's attempt to belittle him, as he had done nothing to deserve such intaeks. Cabinet was determined to do good work if Riven a chance, and he asked tp ire given that chance. The alternative would not bo JJr. llnssev, whom he likened to Moses, who never reached the Promised Land. Personally, he would not care if ho were relegated to private life. He might then lis able to make a little money, which a Minister could not do.
