. 0 . ANNUAL MEETING. The Rev. W, S. Potter presided over the annual meeting of the City and Suburb No-License. League which was held on Thursday evening. The annual report etates, inter alia;— "Six issues of our official organ, Patriot, were printed, and in the Wellington electorate 80,000 copies were distributed by the Students' League and other willing workers. A special word is due to the Rov. Mr. Cossum in his capacity as editor, nnd I am sure the thanks of the leagueare duo to him for the v valuable services rendered. I feel fully justified in. saying never before in the history of the movement have we pkeed in tho hands of tho publio such valuable literature, and in this particular we nro deeply grateful to out. worthy vice-president, Mr. E. G. Denton. We welcome tho advent, of the Students' Prohibition League, end much appreciate tho excellent work done by them, addressing public meetings, distribution of literature, «tc. Wo are indebted to those friends who Arranged for nnd conducted the 'Torchlight' columns that appeared in the 'Evening Post 1 for a eonssderahio time prior to the elections, nml, while extending thanks to those- gentlemen, 1 also dfsiro to mention the many wlio have assisted us financially and in any other capacity during the strenuous yoar just passed.
