CITY FIRES.

WELLINGTON TERRACE HOtTSE. Shortly after 10 o'clock yesterday morning, the Citv Fire Brigado was. called to No 230 Wellington Terrace, tho residonce of Mrs. J. J. Bovine. The house has eleven rooms, and the fire broke out in a room on the ground floor, which had not been occupied for a, considerable time. Before the fire was suppressed, the wall of the room and some wearing appaTel were damaged. The outbreak is supposed to have been caused by a spark getting into the room through ft broken windowpane. Tho house was insured in the Ocean office for X 1350, and tho contents were covered by four policies totalling £750. .
