Major-General Sir Arthur Donrord, who is refcurniisg to England from New Zealand, and who was intorvievrod here, declared that the Dominion, had ceased to bo a free country owing to the multiplicity of laws. Ho complains tiiat the fishery business is being neglected, the bulk of 111© trout being diseased. Ho maintains that unless tho disease ia cheeked New Zealand will cease to be.regarded as tho happy cpot for English, enthusiasts to make a holiday in.
