A LITTLE OUTBURST.
PREMIER AND MB. MASSET. (By Telegraph—Frees Association.) Auckland, May 10. A telegram sent to Sir. Massoy by tho Prime Minister in regard to an alleged statement by Mr. Massey that "a Mackenzie could always be bought" has been received by tho Oppositinii leader. "I (sent a courteous telegram to tho Prime Minister asking for his authority for his statement," said Sir. .Massoy tJiis evening. "In reply he has sent me an offensive and insulting Iclpßrnm. It has given Hie public a glimpse of the Prime Minister in his tnio colours, and I am satisfied to Jcnvc the matter until wo meet in Parliament."
