Mr. Frank Hay, assistant-engineer in the Public Works Department, returned last evening after being twelve jnonths abroad. During his absence Mr. Hay-, who is a member of tho Karori Rifle Club, competed with considerable success at tho Bisley rifle meeting, tying for fifth place with four others in the St. George's vase competition, first: place in the Martin's Cup aggravate, and finishing nineteenth in tho final stage of the King's.
