Tho Ashburton Eacing Club's autumn meeting was concluded this afternoon under favourable conditions, tho weather bein',' bright and sunny, and the attendance above the average, while tho fields were again largo. Tho totalisatoi investments wcro exceptionally heavy, the total for the meeting being £1-1,197 10s., as against £11,526 10s. in May, 11)11, and £0183 10s. in May, 1910, though, on the latter occasion, tho bookmakers wore licensed. The difference between last year's and this year's figures is such as to call for remark. Kesults: — MOKETON HACK HANDICAP, of 70 6ovs. Six furlongs.—Ceylon, 1; Stephanos, 2; Keef Points, .'!. Scratched: Foam Flake and Respond. Won easily by two lengths, IJeof Points being as fat behind Stephanos. Time, lmin. 17 l-ssec. WINCHIIOBE "WELTER HANDICAP, of 80 sovs. Seven furlongs.—Probable, 1; Kilmeny, 2; Kilts, 3. Scratched: Aimwell and Ellerton. Tho start was bad, Grand Slam being left. Kilts led till the distance,. when Probable drew away and won by two lengths, while half a length separated second and third. Time, lmin. SOsec. AUTUMN HANDICAP, of 125 sovs. One mile.—Sen King, 1; True Knight, 2; Tanrikauser, 3. Scratched: Coroniform. From a good start, Sea King went to thefront, aiid led all the way* winning easily by throe lengths, a similar distance dividing second and third; Time, lmin. 42 3-ssec. JUVENILE HANDICAP, of 80 bow. Six furlongs.—Editah, 1; Glenowe, 2; Firmhold, 3. Scratched: Maple Leaf and Wedding Ring. Glenowe made the running, but Editah overhauled him in the straight and. won by a neck, Finnhold being six lengths away. Time, lmin. lGsec. DISPOSAL HANDICAP, of 50 eovs. Five furlongs.—Aerial, 1; Blytheboy, 2; Vanada, 3. Scratched: Eedwing. The winner took the lead from the start, and l though Biytheboy made a determined effort in tho straight, he won by a length, while Blytheb'oy outclassed Vanada by four lengths. Time, lmin. 2 2-sscc. SELJCA TEQT, of 60 sots.. ..One milo and three furloiigs.— Don Caesar, 1; Holf Boldrewood, 2; Clotali, 3. Scratched: Lord Ashton. Won by fifty yards. Time, 3niin. 22 l-ssec. WAKANUI HANDICAP, of 100 sove. Six furlongs.—Blue ' Lake, 1; Pilgrim's Way, 2; Kilts, 3. Scratched: Sea King and Golightly. The winner quickly got to the front, and was never headed, eventually passing the post three lengths in front of Pilgrim's Way, who beat Kilts by a bare head. Time, lmin. lCsec.
