Quarter pound flour, 1 egg, pinch of salt, 4 pint of milk. Sift the- (lour and salt into a basin. Mnlco a well, break in the ogg, and add a littlo of tho milk. Mix to n smooth paste. Hqld tho basin on ono side and beat for 10 minutes. Stir iu the rost of the milk and allow the batter to stand 1 hours if possible. Put i tablespoonfnls of dripping from the meat into a Yorkshire pudding dish, pour in tbe batter and cook in a hot oven about h hour. Serve with roast beef.
