The entire Fiiipovici family of tea committed suicide on learning that (ho eldest son, by whom they wore- supported, was failing in business. A family council decided to die rather than beg. The father, mother, grandmother, two growing daughter?, ami five sons stnpified themselves with beer and then went to sleep in a garret with two pans of burning charcoal.- The youngest, aged twelve, left a letter explaining tho affair.
