The press room employees of all the newspapers of Chicago struck and endeavoured to prevent the publication of tho newspapers. Tlio effort was partly successful, the papers appearing a quarter of the usual size. The men are now seoking to bring about a nation-wido"strike, The chief point of the dispute concerns wages. Tho newspapers are being delivered under police guard.
