MAKURI FARMERS' UNION.

ANNUAL SIKKTING. The annual meeting of (he Makurn branch of the New Zealand Farmers' Union was held on. Saturday evening last, Mr. Vj. C. Tylee occupyi.nj; tho chair. Tho secretary reported that five old members had sold out and left ihe district, and only one member had not paid his subscription. I-'ivo new members had joined the branch.
