Professor Elle Metchniknff and Dr. Broughton Alcott, in their researches at the Pasteur Institute, discovered a now vaccine against typhoid. Excellent results are reported by tho Academy of Sciences. Professor Elle Metphnikoff is the discoverer of the functions of the white corpuscles in human blood. He believes that old age is a chronic . disease, _ for which science will find a cure. He-.teceived the A'obel Prize for medicine.
