LIBEL ACTION SETTLED. By Telegraph—Press Association-Copyright London, May G. The action for slander, in which Mr. J. Ramsay Macdonald, Labour M.P. for Falkirk Burghs, was plaintiff, and Mr. Alan Burgoyne, Unionist M.P. for Nortn Kensington, defendant, has been settled. The allegations made by Mr. Burgoyne were withdrawn, and judgment entered for plaintiff for £100. The action arose out of statements made by defendant dur- | ing the last General Election.
