Sir,-Mr. Button is to be commended for protesting against I lie .Mayor and the Town Clerk of Kaslbnurue becoming menibers of the liatepayers' Association. The Mayor might find liim.-el!' in an invidious position if he had to receive a deputation from the association to his council, and as a member of the association, the (own clerk might have to crltici.-e the action of his employers—it is unfortunate that the vote went naninst Mr. Mutton's million.—l am, de.," KASTUOt.'HXE.
