Emile Gomez, a Mexican lawyer, has been proclaimed provisional President of Mexico by General Orozco, leader of the revolution. Tho provisional capital is now Ciuded, Jaurez. , Tho appointment was made .chiefly with a view to it? probable effect in the United States, owing to its non-recognition of the belligerency of tho rebel movement.
